We find here North America's fiercest animals like polar bears, black bears and brown bears; sometimes they are known as grizzly bears. Khutzeymateen Valley is the best place for your bear watching trip.
One of the things that makes Khutzeymateen, located 40 kilometers northeast of Prince Rupert on BC's northern coast so special is that grizzly bears species of North American bears flourish there and you can safely enjoy your bear watching trip here. The grizzly bear is one of eight species of the bear family worldwide. Its range once included parts of Asia, Africa, Europe and North America, but most of the world's grizzly bears now occur in western North America. Three of the bear species are found in North America: the grizzly or brown bear, the black bear and the polar bear. So it is the most exciting place for bear viewing for your family and friends.
Seashore Charters offers you a cruise trip, providing a safe and exciting way to view grizzly and black bears in their habitat without intruding on their natural activities. Bears are regularly seen but not guaranteed. Although Polar and Grizzly Bears are both awesome creatures with great strength and unpredictable temperaments they do not seem to make the same human reactions as many other lesser predators and their cubs are high on many lists of the most endearing animals.
